13 – 18 year olds

Yoga therapy is used to reduce stress and anxiety in teenagers and assists with issues such as sleep, digestion, memory and focus. Our programs offer skills to support resilience, self-esteem, confidence and social skills.
  • Developing confidence and self-esteem.
  • Supporting health and wellbeing.
  • Creativity and self-expression

Teens learn:

  • Yoga sequences to reduce stress and anxiety.
  • Mindfulness to improve focus, concentration, and memory skills.
  • Mindset to create self-belief and improve mood.
  • Recipes and self-care routines to support health and wellbeing.
  • Booklet and breathing cards included.

 

ABOUT MELANIE

Melanie has been working with children for the past 20 years and teaching yoga to children and teens for the past 7 years. She has completed a level 1 350-hour yoga teacher training through My Health Yoga and is a 95-hour qualified children’s yoga teacher through Zenergy Yoga. Melanie has a Bachelor of Teaching in early childhood education. By the end of each program Mel’s kids yoga there has been a significant improvement in the physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing of children and teens.

COST

Early bird 8 weeks for $160.00 – with ‘Active Kids’ only $60.00 (book before 31 December)
Full Price 8 Weeks for $190.00 – with Active Kids voucher only $90.00

 

WHAT TO BRING

If you have a mat, bolster and other props, feel free to bring with you. If you do not have these, DON’T WORRY – we have them available, however, due to COVID19, bring along a towel or two.
